This Privacy Policy applies to information we, Expedition Glamping (Pty) Ltd, collect about individuals who interact with our organisation. It explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.

Enquiries about our organisation and its work: name, telephone, email and message. This is mandatory information, processed on the basis of legitimate interests - it is necessary for us to read and store your message so that we can respond in the way you would expect. This information may also be used for accounting purposes, to generate a quote and an invoice.

Insurance: ID, proof of address and banking details. This is mandatory information. Once the booking is secured, it is necessary for us to keep a record of the ID and proof of address of the client until the event takes place, for insurance purposes.

Website functionality: website activity collected through cookies. This is voluntary information, processed on the basis of legitimate interests - a small amount of information is stored, usually through cookies, to deliver functionality you would expect, such as remembering your contact information on the contact form. You can change your cookie settings at any time.

We will only use your data in a manner that is appropriate considering the basis on which that data was collected. Expedition Glamping collects your data so that we can:

• Contact you when we receive your message from the contact form, to respond in the way you would expect
• Send you a cost estimate
• Email you with special offers on services we think you might like

By entering your details in the contact form, you allow Expedition Glamping to contact you to respond in the way you would expect.

Where data is collected on the basis of consent, we will seek renewal of consent at least every three years.

Expedition Glamping would like to send you information about services of ours that we think you might like. If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date. You have the right at any time to stop Expedition Glamping from contacting you for marketing purposes.
